Nokia Beta Labs Releases Gig Finder Beta for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and N97

Gig Finder Beta is a brand new application nokia beta labsSymbian S60 5th edition mobiles i.e. for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, 5230 and X6. Gig Finder connects you with your favourite music events at your location.

Gig Finder recommends you music events near your location that match your taste, based on the music you listen on your device, you can list your favourite artists to refine your profile for more accurate recommendations. In addition, you can list venues for quick access to upcoming events at your favourite places.

Find new events or get alerts of events that match your profile, buy tickets and keep track of your upcoming events, Promote your events in your social networks, upload events to Facebook and send event information to your friends using SMS and Email. Discover newmusic from interesting recommendations, access artist information and connect to Nokia Music Store to download songs.

Never miss out on your favourite events again! You can do the following -

• View events recommended to you based on your music profile.
• Pick an event, buy tickets, add the event to your calendar, locate the venue in Maps and share information with your friends.
• Find events outside your recommendations.

Gig Finder is available to download from Nokia Beta Labs with two known issues or limitations-

1. The Music Event Database currently includes music events only in United States (USA), Canada, United Kingdom (UK), and Ireland. No other countries are included.
2. Link to Music Store only available in countries with a Nokia Music Store/ Ovi Music (UK & Ireland).
