thaanks.

STEP 1
Download your firmware files using navifirm

STEP 2
Download  the file here  and copy it to the firmwire folder

If your file has other name like "RM356_40.0.005_003_U302.uda.fpsx" then rename "RM356_40.0.005_023_xxx_U01.uda.fpsx" to "RM356_40.0.005_003_U302.uda.fpsx" then dont hesitate to overwrite it
and keep these files ready for use
Now launch JAF and set options like in picture below:

Notes:
Go to the BB5 tab and
Disable crt 308
Disable Normal Mode
Select Manual flash & Dead Usb

Step3
Now select your phone

Notes:
Like in the first image select Use INI and you will be prompted to select your phone as shown in the second image.

Step 4

Now Keep Your eye locked in the jaf log..
Find the location were jaf is searching for your firmwire files.
See the picture below.

I have marked in red the location jaf is searching for my firmwire files.
so your firmwire files we made ready as in step 2 has to be pasted to the location were jaf is searching your firmwire files.
If such a location doesnt exist, create it manually.
once you have copied the files to appropriate location
click on the options use Ini and select your phone model when prompted, now the jaf will load your firmwire files , as shown in the below pic.

Now TURN OFF your phone !! and then click FLASH button after that press power button (don't hold it) on your phone and JAF will start flashing.
Wait till Jaf Finishes Flashing
Restart your phone..and the continue to next step.

Step 5
To begin with u need a file explorer like xplore or y browser installed
copy files from here to "E:\Patches" and run RP+, select "Install Server RP+" and "Open4All RP+" add them to auto and your phone is HACKED !!!!!!!!

Notes:
1) Make sure you have downloaded the exact firmwire
2)Make sure you have selected the correct phone model in Jaf
3)while in 4th step make sure u press the power button just for a second to trigger flashing, dont keep the power button pressed for so long.!
6) Make sure you dont get stuck in a power failure while doing flashing.
7)make sure you back up your contacts, msgs etc before you proceed with flashing.

please verify... 2 3 times..
its just caus.. u have note copied files to exact location..
verify again,
letters are case sensitive, and dont leave out even a "-", while making folders manually.
Also make sure you have not not downloaded a long firmwire in step 1
Also see to step 2 again.. ensure u have renamed file and replaced existing one if renaming was necessary..!!
This should solve the problem..!

Heyy... I have A Que..
I Currently Have A very Old Firmware in my 5800XM..

Since my Purchase many new Firmare has been released, and the latest v40 With Kinetic Scrolling etc..

I want to flash my phone,I have earlier done it in my 5130XM
I just wanted to know.. Would I have to Update All the Firmwares step by step to get to v40..
or can I Directly Update to v40..?

@ shaleen, You can directly update
there.
connect Your Phone to Nokia software updater and see if update is available.
If Update is not available you have to change the product code.
Thanks & Regards:
